How do I become a Ham?

Join the Manatee Amateur Radio Club, attend the meetings, classes and activities. You will learn about Amateur Radio,
how it works and what you need to pass your test.
Join the ARRL and learn from the articles published each month.
Teach yourself. Resources through ARRL and W5YI are great for assisting anyone in preparing to pass the test
and get a Amateur Radio License.

Whichever path you chose, we can’t wait to talk to you on the air.
